Celebrating 65 years of Amateur Dramatics
THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST

Against the very slightest of plots, Oscar Wilde's characters wield verbal rapiers that have pierced deep into the English language and become part of our heritage.

Satirising the manners of London "Society" in the last years of Victoria's reign, The Importance of Being Earnest rejoices in absurd but amiable characters, whose descendents are with us to this day. Behind the stylised setting, who do you see?
