Synopsis
|
|
Elderly Lady Ashbrook is brutally murdered in her London
Home for no apparent reason.
Chief Superintendent Briers discovers the
murderer but cannot find evidence to prove guilt.
Arrogant and unlovable, Lady Ashbrook
nevertheless respected code of morals and manners fast
vanishing from our society at the close of the twentieth
century.
Briers is driven by a compulsion to bring
the killer to justice - but how?
