Synopsis

When we dream, we enter a world of fantasy which has sprung from a world of reality.  Or do we?  Perhaps our dreams are the reality and our daily existence is nothing more than an illusion of the mind.

It is a hot midsummer's day in Athens, but it could be anywhere, any time (another strange concept).  The city prepares to celebrate a royal wedding.  You might call it a fairy tale wedding as the Duke of Athens won his bride, the Queen of the Amazons, by defeating her in battle.  She fell for her conqueror and he fell for his conquered.  There is an air of joyous expectation aboard: a time to dance, drink and siesta.  A time, also, that is ripe for the real world and the dream world to merge...
