| Synopsis |
| Bernard
invites his mistress, Brigit, to his home on her birthday,
despite the fact his wife is present! To lull her suspicions,
he has also invited his best friend, Robert, and asks him to
complete the cover-up by pretending that Brigit is his own
mistress. Needless to say, frantic complications set in and
identities, plots and bedrooms are changed around with
ever-increasing confusion.
There are five characters in Happy
Birthday:- Bernard, Jacqueline (his wife), Robert (his best
friend), Brigit (his mistress) and Brigit (the temporary
maid). They could be played by anyone in their 20s, 30s or
40s. |
