Synopsis

The tale of the infamous Dick Turpin, highwayman, is brought to raucous life in this hilarious pantomime.  With more than a touch of melodrama and a set which includes no less than three secret passages, Dick Turpin is original, inventive and full of fun.  Many a new twist is brought to the much-loved panto conventions; the Dame, the villain complete with dim-witted henchmen, the beautiful girl and her beau are all here, as ever, but in a new and exciting setting with its fair share of surprises!  The choice of songs will cater to all tastes, both young and old alike.

When lovable rogue Dick Turpin realises that someone is out to tarnish his reputation by claiming to be him and committing serious crimes, he himself goes undercover. He takes a job on Dame Dollop’s farm so he can track down the villain. But on the farm he discovers more than he bargained for. Caught in a love triangle between farm-hands Katie Cuddlesome and Billy Bumpkin, Dick himself realises he has fallen in love with Lord Lotaloot’s beautiful daughter. Can Dick catch the villain, get his girl and extract himself from Katie’s clutches?
