Synopsis

Aladdin, Ali-Baba and Sinbad pale by comparison!  This is an Eastern concoction into which every conceivable Arabian Nights cliché has been stirred, seasoned with a twist of alternative history, and all cunningly bound together in a traditional pantomime recipe.

King Richard (Hurrah!) who is out on his Crusades in Arabia is loved by Tommy and hated by the evil Saladin (Boo!).  Can Saladin thwart Richard's plans by capturing Tommy from England on a flying carpet, given to him by his genie, Al Kazeltzah?  Fate plays a hand as Saladin's henchmen, Oshgosh and Babu, capture Tommy's Aunt, Dame Dollop by mistake and she (?) is forced to join the harem run by Saladin's first wife, Yasmin, and belly dance for Saladin's amusement.  Tommy meanwhile arrives by ship from England and befriends Hassan the Bandit and together with his accomplice Ali-Kat (a decommissioned assassin) and his camel Mustapha Spit, they attempt to rescue Dame Dollop, last seen in the clutches of Ibn Dun, a eunuch.  Unfortunately Dame Dollop is having so much fun she does not want to be rescued, and Tommy is trapped by Saladin at last.  But Tommy has now fallen in love with Hassan the Bandit!  How will it end?
