As the Quince Players
celebrate their diamond anniversary, we present 'Diamond
Delights', an evening of humorous one act plays from three
different directors.
Jane Mills directs 'A Man
of Letters' by Tim Firth. Frank has erected signs
for a commercial letterer for 25 years. With trainee
Alan, he attempts to spell 'FORSHAWS' with disastrous
results.
Graham Munday directs 'Is
it Something I Said?' by Richard Harris. Intending
to kill himself, Wallace books into a seedy hotel run by
Arthur and his nagging wife Stella. Wallace's plans
are thwarted and Arthur is left contemplating a similar
solution to his problems.
Stephen Shaljean-Tilley
directs 'Darlings, You Were Wonderful!' by Derek Lomas.
In a grubby dressing room the diverse members of the
Amazon Theare Company prepare for a drama festival.
Tensions rise between the 6 ladies with unexpected
results. |
